Named for the towering cactus standing guard beside it, Casa Cactus is designed to welcome the gentle ocean breezes, effortlessly turning the tropical warmth into pure relaxation.

Built on the preserve’s hallmark off-grid foundation, it comes fully equipped with a solar refrigerator, a gas stove, and a hot shower fed by mountain springs. It is a two-minute walk from the sand, and all three beaches are secluded and unspoiled — nothing is built on them. It comfortably sleeps four.

There is no Wi-Fi here. Guests who choose Casa Cactus generally choose it for that.

Arriving

Self check-in, with someone there to meet the boat

There is no reception desk and no key to collect from an office. One or two people work on the property from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday — they meet the boats, carry what needs carrying, show you your bungalow and help with anything you need while you are here.

Your bungalow is prepared before you arrive. There is no housekeeping during your stay, but someone is on the property through the day — to meet the boat, change a gas tank and help with anything you need.
