Named for the sound that defines it — the rhythmic sound of the Pacific arriving through the open walls at all hours. Casa Sonido Del Mar is a bungalow that does not let you forget where you are.

In addition to the deck attached to the bungalow, there is a lookout deck below, with lounge chairs for the ocean sunset. It sleeps up to eight, which makes it the one families and groups of friends take when they want everybody under one roof.

Open walls on the ocean side, a palm thatch roof overhead, and the surf running underneath all of it, day and night.

Every bungalow is on the sand or a two-minute walk from it. The three beaches are secluded and unspoiled — no development, no beach bar, no lounge chair concession, nothing built on them at all.

Arriving

Self check-in, with someone there to meet the boat

There is no reception desk and no key to collect from an office. One or two people work on the property from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday — they meet the boats, carry what needs carrying, show you your bungalow and help with anything you need while you are here.

Your bungalow is prepared before you arrive. There is no housekeeping during your stay, but someone is on the property through the day — to meet the boat, change a gas tank and help with anything you need.
